According to various sources, a statement from PH Resorts Group Holdings Inc said: “The voluntary suspension also enables PH Resorts Group Holdings Incorporated to step up and develop its flagship integrated resort and casino project to focus. , the Emerald Bay Resort and Casino in Mactan ”in Cebu.

It is
unclear whether the company will need to continue the Clark Project in order to obtain a regular casino license for the Emerald Bay Resort and Casino. Preliminary licenses have been issued for both casinos, with a regular license expected to be auctioned after completion. Clark's preliminary license and replacement licenses are expected to expire in 2033 but are subject to renewal terms.
