2021 WSOP $25k HORSE: Norman Chad On Day 1

The poker world has once again descended upon the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino for the World Series of Poker! The 2021 WSOP kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 30 with the first of 88 gold bracelet events being held live and in-person in Las Vegas through November 23.

Today marked the first day that cards were in the air for a fully in-person bracelet event at the Rio since July 16th of 2019, with the 2020 WSOP being held online outside of the final tables of the hybrid $10,000 main event won by Damian Salas.

Card Player TV caught up with WSOP commentator Norman Chad on the first day at the series to learn about his charitable shot at the $25,000 HORSE event, the return of live WSOP action at the Rio and more.
